What hardware do I need to communicate with the AnnoLog?
To communicate with the AnnoLog device, you need a mobile phone with Bluetooth enabled. The BrightSentinel mobile app works with: Android phones, version 12 onwards with Bluetooth 5 are supported; and Apple phones, versions 16 onwards are supported.
What is the maximum number of readings that the AnnoLog stores?
The AnnoLog stores a maximum of 6,000 temperature readings. You have the option of setting the AnnoLog to stop when its memory is full or to enable the system to override its earliest data on a first-in-first-out basis.
Are the AnnoLog devices waterproof?
Yes, the AnnoLog devices are waterproof to 10 meters (32 feet).
What materials are used for the AnnoLog?
The upper case is made of medical and food grade polycarbonate (ISO 10993 compliant) and the base is made of stainless steel. Please download the attached document for your records.
Do we provide a Calibration Certificate for each AnnoLog?
Yes, each AnnoLog is issued with its unique Calibration Certificate from our in-house calibration lab that is accredited by NVLAP to ISO17025.
What is the temperature range of the AnnoLog?
The temperature range of the AnnoLog is -30° C to 70° C.
What is the calibrated range of the AnnoLog?
The AnnoLog is calibrated over the range of 0 to 50°C, at 4 points of measurement especially relevant to clinical labs. These points are: 0, 25°C, 37.5°C and 50°C.
Are the AnnoLog devices calibrated?
Yes, the AnnoLogs are calibrated to ISO/IEC17025 in our accredited in-house calibration lab.
What happens to the AnnoLog device at the end of the subscription period?
The AnnoLog is retired at the end of the subscription period. Please dispose of it as you would a battery or return it to BrightSentinel for careful disposal.
