Overview of the BrightSentinel system
The BrightSentinel temperature monitoring service is designed to simplify your temperature measurement collection and monitoring activities.
Think of the BrightSentinel Cloud as the “brains” of the system; enabling you to manage the following:
- Sites associated with this Master Account;
- Users set-up at each site, with their defined roles and authorisation level;
- Temperature collection devices allocated to the sites and their status;
- Equipment/activities that are monitoried and their status;
- The key parameters that define distinct equipment/activity groups for the monitoring of temperature ranges and measurement frequency; and
- Data analysis and reporting.
Once you have set up your locations (Sites), users, equipment groups and equipment or processes, you configure the loggers and put them to work - that's it you are well on your way!
Typically, loggers are assigned to a specific equipment to gather data 24/7 on an ongoing basis. Alternatively, loggers may be used for a shorter period of time and be reassigned to monitor a series of equipment, activities or environments. The system is flexible. Start with the setup of one equipment or process at a site and add users. Expand as you have a clearer picture of how to best achieve your goals.
For a bird's eye view, the graphs will quickly highlight any anomalies and strange happenings. For a more in-depth analysis, you can view the downloadable data.
When you start using the BrightSentinel system, spend some time experimenting with where you place the devices, the defined temperature parameters, and settings for measurement frequency in order to determine what is optimum for your environment. Any questions, don't hesitate to contact us by
